The former President of Independent Television Producers Association of Nigeria (ITPAN), producer and director of the popular, now-defunct television drama series “The Village Headmaster” died this morning at his home in Festac Town, Lagos. He was 70 years old.
Until his death, Tunde Oloyede ran his own production outfit, Media International Production.
He had also produced dozens of television commercials, popular TV drama series amongst which was Tightrope as well as several other productions.
The Village Headmaster was Nigeria’s longest-running television soap opera showed on Nigeria's oldest television channel, NTA from 1968 to 1988.
