Former Olori of Ife, Queen Zaynab awarded ‘Humanitarian of the Year” award during UN Week

Former Olori of Ife and philanthropist, Zaynab-Otiti Obanor received the Humanitarian of the Year award from “Kechie’s Project” at an event during the UN General Assembly held last week.

Coming weeks after her separation from the Ooni of Ife, Queen Zaynab was present at UN General Assembly in New York to receive the award.

Queen Zaynab who is known for her humanitarian gestures shared the news on her social media page with the caption:

“Her Highness Queen Zaynab awarded Humanitarian of the Year by Kechie’s Project during UN Week in New York, for her outstanding contributions to women and children across the globe. Also among the honorees at the event were CNN anchor, Don Lemon and Nigerian former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
