This is not the best of times for Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh as a court injunction has refrained the actress and LindaIkeji TV from airing and showing her son, King on her reality show.
Tonto Dikeh's ex-husband, Churchill Oladunni has been able to get a court injunction to stop her reality show from showing their son, King.
The court injunction was served by a Lagos State Magistrate Court on Wednesday, January 31st, 2018 and it reads:
"restraining Ms Tonto Dikeh and Linda Ikeji Media from airing, showing, disseminating or broadcasting, either through television, blogs or the Internet the person, name, Face, image, likeness or picture of King Andrea Omodayo Igo Churchill in the King Tonto Reality TV Show produced by Linda Ikeji Media pending the hearing of the originating motion in the suit."
The injunction comes after a suit filed by Churchill Oladunni in January 2018 at the family court stopping his son, King from featuring in her reality show.
Churchill in his application, wants to protect his son's image, which he feels is being exploited for financial gains.
"Such reality show exposes the life and times of the 1st Applicant, who is a minor, at a time when he cannot make a decision for himself, this exposure is prejudicial to his growth and welfare of his son, the 1st Applicant" reads the court document.
Recall that trailer from Tonto Dikeh's yet-to-be released reality T.V. show, "King Tonto" was dropped and the actress is seen with her son, carrying on with her routine life.
A major highlight of the reality show teaser was the point where the mother-of-one revealed that she went under the knife to get a cosmetic surgery after birthing her son, King.
