John Dumelo set to get married, news already filled with drama

It’s no longer news that John Dumelo is one of Ghana’s most eligible bachelor but not after his friend made the huge announcement of the actors’ marriage.

A friend of the actor, Kofi Okyere Darko announced the news of John Dumelo’s forthcoming wedding.

Kofi revealed that the actor personally called to inform as well as invite him for the wedding and added that the actor is marrying a quiet lady who can keep a home and not one who is everywhere.

He said:

“Just got off the fone with my friend and brother, John Dumelo…..My brother is actually getting married and I’m invited! Unbelieveable true ooo!

Beautiful woman too. Got me wondering why most men in public eye settle for quiet/unkown women and not the ones all over.

That could be a lesson for some of our sisters oooooo

Men want women who can make a home and not be all  over the place.

I wish them well and can’t wait to see them on Saturday.”

This did not go down well with a lot of ladies especially actresses as it was quite clear that he was trying to throw a shade at someone.

Trust people to decode who he was trying to shade as Yvonne Okoro as well as Juliet Ibrahim fired back at him.

@nineteen57bykod you could have congratulated the couple without needlessly denigrating other women. Who a man chooses to be with is a matter of personal preference and vice versa for women too. As you clearly believe that women should make all their life choices with marriage always being at the forefront of their minds, you should preach the same to men. I pray that young women would be raised to believe that they can achieve their dreams(working hard, and being KNOWN)and being also the perfect bride for some man one day, this goes for the man too.

PS-A quiet and unknown woman does not equate a happy and successful marriage.I know many KNOWN women that are working hard and are all over the place yet great wives and mothers too!!

Happy marriage @johndumelo1.See you soon!

NO, I don’t get what you mean bro! His English and what you’re saying are 2 different things right now. So you’re saying a woman who’s working and all over the place can’t keep a home? What a mentality! So you would rather a woman who’s a stay at home wife or one to be used as a puppet?! Not in 2018! Women work so they will be all over the place and when it’s time for wife duties a working class woman will perform equal responsibilities! That’s how it works! What’s the purpose of the statement? is he saying the woman John is getting married to is better than hardworking women who are all over the place WORKING ? She’s better than such women in what sense exactly? That’s what we are asking my brother!!!”
