Movie Alert: 'Lone Star Deception' featuring Nse Ikpe-Etim, Eric Roberts, Melissa Wilson and more| Watch Trailer Below

Our movie alert for this week goes to the political, crime drama captured and directed by Don Okolo and Robert Peters titled 'Lone Star Deception' which features top acts such as Nollywood actress, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Oscar Nominee Eric Roberts, Anthony Ray Parker,  Eliza Roberts, Gary Lee Mahmoud, Emmy Award Winner Melissa Wilson, Roman McPherson, Carl Bailey and more.

Lone Star Deception which is produced by Nkem DenChukwu and set in Texas tells the story of Bill Sagle (Eric Roberts), a wealthy Texas oilman who likes to control the political scene as much as he likes to make money. Facing a decline in his wealth following the drop in oil prices, Bill Sagle attempts to use his political savviness to save his business empire as well as his personal egotistic lifestyle as he sets a plan into motion that risks the lives of many.

Stuart Sagle (Gary Lee Mahmoud) is leading the race to win the Texas governorship election, however, he blows his golden chance on a $100 prostitute forcing his biggest supporter, Bill Sagle to opt for a second choice candidate in Tim Bayh (Anthony Ray Parker).

Tim Bayh who is a long-time employee of Bill Sagle is used as Sagle's scapegoat in his quest for political conquest as Sagle chooses him as the first black candidate for the Governorship of Texas. Tim is caught in a whirlwind of confusion as to whether to quit what has become a dangerous adventure in becoming the first BLACK Texas governor or risk his life as well as that of his wife, Meg Bayh (Nse Ikpe-Etim) and family. Now the die is cast and Tim Bayh will either ride it to the state house or die trying.

The release date for Lone Star Deception is yet to be announced, however, it is definitely one we are eagerly anticipating.
