Funke Akindele to feature in Hollywood movie Avengers: Infinity War

It is often said that a golden fish has no hiding place. This statement seems to be true for Nollywood goddess, Funke Akindele as she just got a big leap in her career, by becoming part of the cast for an upcoming American Superhero movie, Avengers: Infinity War.

Funke Akindele will play the role of a Dora Milaje member in the movie, alongside other superstar actors.

At the moment, the actress is one of the biggest names in Nollywood and she has bagged many endorsement deals.

Avengers: Infinity War is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers.

Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the movie, Avengers: Infinity War is projected to be the sequel to 2012’s Marvel’s The Avengers and 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and the nineteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely.

In Avengers: Infinity War, the Avengers join forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to confront Thanos, who is trying to collect the Infinity Stones.

The movie is scheduled to be released in the United States on May 4, 2018, in IMAX and 3D while the sequel is scheduled to be released on May 3, 2019.
