Repping Naija! Wizkid and Davido win big at 2017 MOBO Awards| See Full List of Winners Below

The 2017 Music of Black Origin (MOBO) awards took place at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, United Kingdom with Maya Jama and Marvin Humes as the host of the award show aimed at recognizing artists of any nationality or ethnicity performing black music.

Nigerian pop stars, Wizkid and Davido emerged winners at the award show with Wizkid bagging the ‘Best International Act’ award and Davido picking up the ‘Best African Act’ award.

Wizkid beat the likes of JAY-Z, Cardi B, SZA, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Migos, DJ Khaled, Solange Knowles and Travis Scott to the award whereas Davido knocked off competition from Tekno, Eugy, Wande Coal, Sarkodie, Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Juls, Maleek Berry, Mr Eazi and Wizkid.

British singer, Stormzy scooped three awards on the night, winning the 'Best Male Artist', 'Best Grime Act' and 'Best Album' (Gang Signs & Prayer) awards.

Stefflon Don also emerged the 'Best Female Artist' whereas Dave picked up the 'Best Newcomer' award.
