Men's Skincare: How to properly cleanse your face

Women are always fanatical about their skin especially their face unlike men who think taking care of their skin is feminine, time-consuming and unnecessary.

This shouldn't be so because the face is always exposed to different types of pollution such as exhaustion fumes and all other dangerous toxins in the air.

These dangerous toxins do not only sit on the skin but also find their way through the pores and damage the skin.

Taking care of your face is not as difficult as most men feel, it doesn't require you buying expensive lotions but only requires commitment and consistency.

Experts recommend that one should cleanse the face at least twice in a day; once in the morning and once at night.

Check out this 3-step plan to properly cleanse your face;

  1. Exfoliate

This should be done once in a week using an exfoliant. It is simply the washing of your skin to remove dead skin cells. Removing these dead skin cells unclog the pores on the skin and remove the dirt inside them. Use exfoliants with fine particles because the skin on the face is thinner than the skin on other parts of the body.

  1. Daily Wash

This should be done on a daily basis; once in the morning and at night. Washing your face daily will keep the skin on the face moist and never dry. Using face cleansers to wash your face is ideal but you need to consider the type of cleanser. Dry skin cleansers might not work for oily skin and vice versa.

  1. Daily Moisturizing

This is the final step in cleaning your face properly. Apply moisturizers that will protect your face from harmful sun rays. This will improve your skin condition and also reduce the aging process.

For men, cleaning your face is very important if you are looking to maintain a smooth face with no wrinkles and damaged patches.
