Fashion designer,songwriter and singer Gwen Stefani is Revlon's new global brand ambassador

The 47-year old singer who is known for her porcelain makeup and signature including her fierce red lips has she joined current Revlon ambassadors; Halle Berry, Olivia Wilde, Ciara and more.

Gwen Stefani who is not a stranger to beauty endorsements and brands, was L’Oréal spokesperson from 2011 through 2013, she also has a popular line of fragrance; Harajuku Lovers as well as designed a range of OPI nail lacquer

She also collaborated on a line of cosmetics for Urban Decay about two years ago.

Speaking about the endorsement, Revlon’s Chief Marketing Officer, Benjamin Karsch told WWD why the brand chose the singer and fashion designer as the new ambassador.

 “Gwen will clearly appeal to makeup enthusiasts. She’s known far and wide for her red lips, so that’s definitely part of the attractiveness as a brand ambassador for Revlon, but that’s really combined with who she is as a person and also her love story.”

In her early 20's, Gwen Stefani was a makeup artist and was also reported to have worked behind the Borghese counter in a local mall.
