NGO to host fundraiser for couples with infertility challenges

A not-for-profit organisation, 'Beibei Haven Foundation' is set to host a fundraiser ball to support couples with infertility problems.

The organisation gives support to women and couples who are experiencing infertility challenges.

The aim of the fundraiser is to help in generating funds for the Foundation to continue to offer free grants to women and couples who are having challenges such as infertility, pregnancy/baby loss and genotype challenges.

Founder of Beibei Haven Foundation, Tade Alalade struggled with trying to conceive in the early years of her marriage.

Aside her fertility challenges, financial difficulties also played a key role as she was unable to afford the necessary treatments and had to resort to getting a loan which led her to work constantly for the first two years of her marriage to pay for fertility treatments.

Her excruciating experience challenged her into establishing the Beibei Haven Foundation to support other women and couples who are struggling to conceive.

Tagged ‘The Pink and Blue Ball’, this year’s edition of the annual fundraising dinner is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 10 at Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go into helping couples who need medical assistance.
