“Yeah, I’ll beat Oprah if she runs for President" – Donald Trump

President of America, Donald Trump has said he believes he will defeat Media magnate, Oprah Winfrey if she runs for president in 2020.

Following Oprah’s empowering speech at the Golden Globes, social media went agog Sunday night about a presidential run after Winfrey’s speech at the Golden Globes awards show promoting the “Time’s Up” movement against sexual harassment and assault.

Her best friend and confidante, Gayle King has said she is intrigued by the idea of running.

She said

“I do think she’s intrigued by the idea, I do think that,” King said. “I also know that after years of watching ‘The Oprah (Winfrey) Show’ you always have the right to change your mind. I don’t think at this point she’s actually considering it.”

However, Trump, speaking to reporters, said he knows Oprah “very well,” and although she’ll “be a lot of fun,” he’ll “beat her.”

“Yeah, I’ll beat Oprah. Oprah would be a lot of fun. I know her very well…I like Oprah. I don’t think she’s going to run."
