UFC Fighter, Conor McGregor calls for boxing match with Mayweather for $100million

UFC fighter, ‘Conor McGregor’ has stated that he will fight ‘Floyd Mayweather’ in a boxing match for $100m.

According to McGregor who appeared on ‘TMZ Sports’, if Mayweather wanted the match under boxing rules, it would have to come at the cost of $100m.

He said;

"He wants it under boxing rules. He wants a boxing match. He doesn't want a fight. Tell Floyd and Showtime, I'm coming. Tell him to go to them Showtime offices. I want $100 million cash to fight you under boxing rules because he's afraid of a real fight".

The entire controversy began when Mayweather dissed McGregor because he was called the 'Mayweather of UFC'. Conor McGregor then clapped back at Mayweather telling him he would be coming for a fight with him.

Mayweather then stated that he was trying to arrange a fight with McGregor but nothing was materializing. This led Conor McGregor to call for a boxing match for $100m

UFC boss, Dana White expressed his support for Conor McGregor stating that Floyd Mayweather's fighting style was boring.

He said;

"Conor McGregor, if he touches you, you go to sleep, Floyd puts people to sleep too, with his fighting style, not with his hands. You know how Floyd knocks people out? When they're not looking. Watch the Victor Ortiz fight".

"This kid's just getting started. This kid's 28 years old. Floyd can say what he wants about Conor, but even other fighters have to respect him. He's special. Floyd's never even come close to doing to other fighters what Conor does".

However, Boxing Fans, as well as UFC Fighters, will no doubt be anticipating this heavyweight contest if indeed it comes.
